Interantional Freedom of Choice

Hey everybody Ive got a very vague idea for a new proposal.
Something like no religion, political ideologue, or likewise shall be banned by the state and all people have the freedom to choose which of these they follow. ya know, if you don't like nudists you cant ban them, and even if you hate Capitalists you can't ban people from believing that. Give everybody a freedom of choice.I think something like that could use some work but it would be a good idea.

So what about a religion that supports, say, killing everybody that doesn't agree with them and eating their babies?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the UN has no jurisdiction over what ideologies are and are not allowed to be practiced. There is a rule against proposals that ban political/religious/economical/etc. ideologies, but I also interpret this to also be against proposals that promote certain ideologies (or any ideology) and protect them from a nation's government.

its not about promioting/demoting, its putting everything on an equal footing.

id be hard pressed to visualise any solid text, but if you'd like id help you with it, as it is a prety good idea.

Which I don't think the UN should be able to do. Why should there be a law that mandates that a government has to allow any ideology, no matter what?

If my country has a law against public nudity, then how would we be able to accomodate nudists in our country?

So what about a religion that supports, say, killing everybody that doesn't agree with them and eating their babies?
Exactly.

Whether such a resolution is allowed in the UN or not, it would certianly not have my support.
