For all US citizens on this great website. I emplore you to insist for our right as Americans to be heard. You must persuade all your regions UN Delegates to approve this propsal in the UN.

For far too long the rest of the nations in the United Nations feel they should have the same voting power and right to use the United Nations. Though in reality it is the United States of America that funds the UN, Supplies troops to teh UN, supplies the food, enconomic aid, and just about everything else. This must stop. This is not a democractic thing to do. This is the same as one person working hard and the other person sleeping all day, but now we have this governing body saying that both people deserve to have an equal share of everything. Please help the USA gain the power to use USA money, people, and supplies the way that we want too. AFTER ALL IT IS OUR MONEY, PEOPLE AND SUPPLIES.

This is the best proposal out there. We do need to stand up for our rights to use "OUR" money and people the way we feel necessay. Why are we paying for everything and sacificing our people at the beck and call of other nations. Nations who enjoy everything that we provide, but they won't provide anything remotely close in aid, money or people.

Vote yes, Approve USA should be in charge.

Its about time someone spoke the truth. The USA does do all the dirty work for the UN. Its about time we have the full or ultimate say in how and where US money and people get use. You other nations are just fish swimming in the pond the USA provides and keeps safe. "Its our money spend it how we want too"

Unfortunately, this is against the rules (reference to RL). But, I agree wholeheartedly!

Not only is it an illegal proposal, but the fact that you used five UN nations to propose it (and then promote it) doesn't really work for us here.

I've been in NSUN too long when i cna look at a proposal like this and give a disinterested "Yawn, illegal, RL reference" rather than anger, outrage, laughter, or even a slight hint of shock.

Other UN vets can probably agree.

Umm... wow. First of all, that certainly won't work for NS... or have any effect at all.

Second, I think the US is a really bad country to have controlling the real UN, especially since we can barely run things here as it is.

What is this USA you speak of? Allanea is not in the UN

[OoC: First off Nationstates doesn't equal real life, in this world there is no America. Secondly you are giving the US too much credit. I won't disagree it does a lot for the United Nations but there are 200 some other nations doing their jobs too.]

Look, the proposal is illegal (and the proposer has been booted), so there's no further point to discussing it. The rest belongs in General. Please take it there.
