A few minutes ago. I proposed the Protection of Freedoms Act
It needs support for it. Here is the text of it.
"Protection of Freedoms Act
A resolution to improve worldwide human and civil rights.

Category: Human Rights
Strength: Mild
Proposed by: Dover-Aragon

Description: Although times are hard, and dangerous. There is no reason to take freedoms from people in times of peace. It is an unforgivable, and immoral act in which the government has people living in fear of saying something the government doesn't approve of and then the government cast them into jail for speaking out. The Government only exist to serve its people. The Government should only spy on its people with their consent. But those who would sacrifice liberty for security deserve neither.

THIS BILL WOULD INSURE that no Government can spy on its own people own during times of peace. This mean that no Government may:listen in on phone conversations, read e-mails, or intercept mail or text messages. But the Government may if it feels the need monitor:Bank accounts, travel, and purchases of large amounts of an item, from international or nation companies or organizations."
