Hi I am approaching you all today to drum up support for my first U.N proposal as a new nation .....that is the proposal for mandantory education!!

This bill would propose that anyone under the age of 16 years should be given an I.Q test focussing on their literacy and numeracy skills mainly and anyone who doesn't reach a pass grade should then be made to take re-education classes so that they become better equipped to become a benefit to society.

This is because in this nations view there are too many members of the world population unable to read, write or do simple math and they are both a drain and of no use whatsoever to our society as a whole. Anyone who doesn't contribute to society merely becomes a drain on its rescources and while they are fit, able and of sound body and mind to do so it is my argument that they should be made to contribute for the betterment of all..

help support this proposal and together we as representives of the world can help make it a better, more effiecent place to live...:fluffle:

oops.......the minister responsible for this proposal is currently working in a labour camp mining ice in the artic.....though to be fair the mis-spelling of mandatory is ample reason why this should have been agreed and proves the points raised adequately which was of course intentional....

anyway all academic as has been deleted for duplicating existing resolutions already in place

We hope that you are not overly discouraged by the deletion, ambassador. We strongly recommend discussing proposals in this forum before submitting them to the floor, since there are many here who would gladly have saved you the twin embarrassments of typographical and procedural error that you suffered.

In short, welcome to the NSUN. We hope you have an enjoyable time meeting the resident entities, and don't take to heart the many insults that customarily fly through these halls.
