NOTING that the UN currently has no specified method of funding,

NOTING that previous attempts to secure funding have failed,

BELIEVING that this is an issue that must be resolved once and for all,

The United Nations, in general General Assembly assembled, hereby:

1. Establishes the United Nations Funding Body, or Unfunding Body, to deal with matters relating to UN money and to act as a treasury.

2. The Unfunding Body shall have the authority to print UN Funds, or unfunds, to pay for the UN.

3. Unfunds must be accepted by all entities within the UN as remuneration for services performed by the UN.

4. The Unfunding Body shall have the authority and responsibility to print more unfunds when the UN needs more money to operate.

OOC: This would be one of those rare occasions on which I really wish Cluich was still here to let rip.

But...but...but...why not? This would pay for everything the UN ever does! We can just print more money, right?

The money would be worthless due to inflation. It's not based off of anything and you cant just print a billion dollars.

It is the strong belief of the Qallegnia UN Delegation that this is effective legislation to combat the UN's fiscal woes. By implementing "unfunding," we ensure that the UN will be unfunded for years to come.

In order to get $1 you would need to print a million dollar bill

This should be submitted and approved immediately! Let this resolution be a symbol for everything the UN (both real and NS) stand for.

IC: Someone should be whipped soundly for this waste of time. UN funding or the lack thereof is hardly a laughing matter. Why, just the other day, we saw a group of UN gnomes conducting a bake sale to raise enough cash for toilet paper. We appreciate their dedicated efforts. Really, really appreciate it. Have a cookie?

The gnomes are not slaves, they work for the UN because they love it. Also, they hate being paid for anything. Don't ask why.

I just sold a CSA $10 dated 1862 for $1280... so it worth more now than it was then.. been offered about same for two more have but holding on to them.

In New Avarin, our system punishes those who seek to disrupt the working government. Contempt of Court, Contempt of Senate, Contempt of the Crown.

However, no such implimentation exists in the UN unfortunatley.

Otherwise I'd move to fine Qallegnia the entire budget of the UN.

Stop wasting our time, and lets actually come up with a solution.
