Hell no! While I have no problem with people drinking alcohol or smoking tobacco and cannibis if they so desire, blanket legalisation of all drugs would cause many problems but, as far as I can see, solve none.

Im not saying Legalisation, Im saying Decrimilisation, Most drugs are Controlled, Paracetomol is Controlled, but Some drugs such as Cannabis and cocaine and Illegal, Decriminalising them would control the amount in the system

The language used in the proposal, in my opinion, is sending a mixed message. Talking of government control and especially taxation suggests to me these poisons would be sold openly which would mean a legal drugs trade IMO.
However, if you remove the decriminalisation and tidy up the language then this has the potential to become the foundation for a good drug addiction treatment bill.

This will be extremely tough to get through, but impossible if you don't but a DEFINING clause in there to explain decriminalization.

What about counries where all drugs are legal, as is the case with Khenas? You can't just claim they are a serious problem in the world, when countries disagree with you.

Take a long hard look at the format of proposals that have passed and then take a long hard look at yours... while you're at it take a long hard look at this (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=420465).

Also take a look at The UN Drug Act (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=12131355&postcount=192), which this will have trouble fitting in with.
