If the UN isn't for you then i would suggest looking at ACCEL, or if not you could start your own little League of Nations.

My friend, you make note of an actual issue that is somewhat bothersome, but you fail to present any sort of reasonable solution.
Getting the tens of thousands of people involved with the game to agree with you on this might be a little tough. If it really gets your goat, make a new forum and have the nations in your region form their own regional UN.
