I submitted a new proposal: Abolish capitalism. Well, the title it's quite enough explicit, so I believe that's not necessary to discuss a lot. You're for or tou're against, but I think it will be interesting to put the proposal at vote. Please give your approval to the proposal, even if you're a right-minded capitalist pig :D

Okay, so you hate capitalism. That's nice, but you can't ban it. Just like you can't ban communism, socialism, democracy, dictatorships, conservatives, liberals, Christians, atheist, or any other political, religious, or economic ideology. While it should go without saying, this is up to the Game Moderator's discretion. You may consider the banning of slavery an oppression of your "economic ideology", we do not.

Sorry, comrade, we can't get away with it. We will have to depend on agit-prop, subversion and gentle persuasion (though bribery is faster. Just see Senator Sulla).

Next time you have a proposal, it will help if you put a copy in your thread, or at least link to it. This is how:

... it is often helpful to provide a valid link to the proposal. To do this, some nations might tell you what page on the proposals list it currently resides in. However, this changes as time passes, so the URL used initially will no longer be accurate. Fortunately, as Hirota helpfully illustrated here, there is another way to link to proposals without relying on page numbers.

If you enter a URL of:

http://www.nationstates.net/page=UN_proposal1/match=gambling into your browser, you will get a list of all the proposals which have gambling within them. Change whatever you have after "match=" to a relevant keyword for your proposal, and then you have a nice lazy link.

If you want more than one keyword, have each one divided by %20 rather than a space. So, if you wanted to look for all proposals which ban gambling, rather than just gambling proposals, you would enter a URL of:
