Repeal "Religious Tolerance"

We would like to gain support for our repeal of the oppressive UN resolution that infringes on State's rights to protect its citizens from religious crime:
Description: UN Resolution #19: Religious Tolerance (Category: Human Rights; Strength: Significant) shall be struck out and rendered null and void.
Argument: We, The Jingoistic States of Ballsforchins, and the many other nation states who support law and order, feel that this Resolution is another UN infringement on the rights of states to prosecute religious terrorists and those who put religion above law and order. Everyday religious zealots follow their archaic texts before following the law of the land. Everyday religious rogues steal from the state by gaining tax exemption. Everyday the religious attempt to bring upon dangerous apocalyptic prophecies! And although we respect the religious institutions that work alongside the current establishment, we cannot respect the many that plot against. We cannot respect them with the decency of survival. Why should we or any other nation state be forced to be tolerant of the intolerant? We feel that it is the right of our state and states elsewhere to defend themselves against these religious barbarians without the nosey intervention of the oppressive United Nations. So it is urgent that this obvious infringement of our state's rights to be repealed immediately!
Sincerely,
The Representative of the Jingoistic States of Ballsforchins

This will be deleted, of that I can assure you
Description: UN Resolution #19: Religious Tolerance (Category: Human Rights; Strength: Significant) shall be struck out and rendered null and void.
Argument: We, The Jingoistic States of Ballsforchins,
Branding violation. Do not put your nationname or region name or whatever into your resolution. Your nation name is in the author column and that's the ONLY thing that should refer to you.
and the many other nation states who support law and order, feel that this Resolution is another UN infringement on the rights of states to prosecute religious terrorists and those who put religion above law and order.
It does not. It calls for tolerance of religion, it doesn't say that people of a different religion are impervious to your nation's laws. They are still required to obey your laws.
"Honest Mistake" violation.
Everyday religious zealots follow their archaic texts before following the law of the land. Everyday religious rogues steal from the state by gaining tax exemption.
Neither of which are required or mandated by UNR #19.
Everyday the religious attempt to bring upon dangerous apocalyptic prophecies!
What does that have to do with anything?
And although we respect the religious institutions that work alongside the current establishment, we cannot respect the many that plot against.
And UNR #19 does not require you to respect those that plot against your establishment using religion as an excuse.
We cannot respect them with the decency of survival. Why should we or any other nation state be forced to be tolerant of the intolerant? We feel that it is the right of our state and states elsewhere to defend themselves against these religious barbarians without the nosey intervention of the oppressive United Nations.
At no point does the UN intervene or oppress in any way, shape or form, your ability to deal with religious zealots that commit such acts
So it is urgent that this obvious infringement of our state's rights to be repealed immediately!
Nay
Sincerely,
The Representative of the Jingoistic States of Ballsforchins
Again, branding violation.
I was expecting a grossly offensive violation, but you have, indeed, surprised me. You merely haven't put in a single truthful statement in your entire proposal.

I suggest you read the rules before your propose something.
I suggest you spend more than 10 seconds trying to help people by redirecting them to something else to read and actually try to help them
And now, so we have an appropriate frame of reference
Whereas, Freedom of Religion does not exist in all countries in the world. Whereas, Too many wars are started and fought because of religious differences.
Whereas, There is a need for more religious tolerance on Earth. Therefore be it resolved that the United Nations support and promote a greater understanding of all religions and promote more tolerance of differences of religion.
Be it further resolved that the United Nations oppose all wars fought in the name of God and religion.
Do you see that? We are forcing NOTHING upon your nations. In fact, there is nothing within this resolution that actually tells nations to do anything. All it does is say that the United Nations will support religious tolerance and oppose religious warfare. It is a position statement, it is a call for tolerance while having absolutely no impact. I don't care how many ways you read it, THIS RESOLUTION REQUIRES NOTHING!

It took me 38 seconds to delete it, post a warning, and send a semi-boilerplate TG with a link to the rules sticky. That okay?

Sure, you've got other stuff to do :P
Seriously, I have yet to see Paradica post more than two lines on a proposal, nearly always suggesting some site or post that the person should reference but giving little information or analysis

I'm not going to deny it, it's because I don't usually have help to give. However, that does mean I don't think the person deserves help, thus the link to Reclamation. And personally, it is my belief that if you aren't even going to read the rules before proposing something, you don't deserve any better than what I posted. I realize you disagree with me, and that's fine. But it doesn't mean that I'm automatically wrong.

Then you shouldn't post at all. If you can't do anything other than direct new players to an offsite, then there's nothing important that needs to be said. We can give advice and critique just fine on this site.
