Illicit drugs should all be leagalised to a degree. Alcahol has proved that prohibition does not work. Frug use needs to be regulated and not outlawed. Ectacy , marijuana, speed, DMT, and all soft drugs should be avalible through registered distributors as tobacco and alcahol are. LSD should be used only under very strict conditions if at all, Heroin , Cocain and Ice should be avalible only through doctors perscription at injecting centres. This will raise govt. revenue to spend on health and Education, lower the death and crime rate as habitual and recreational users can use a safer amount in a regulated area with safe hygenic utensils and Habitual users will not have to resort to crime. This will also significantly reduce the pricing of drugs which is currently marked up at an outstanding amount. It will make research easier and save the govt. billions in law enforcement and jail costs and send profits from drug sales back to the govt. to reinvest. It will also allow the international use of drugs to be more regulated and less demonized. There is alot of int. evidence to support all claims.

To me, it's really a state and domestic issue. I don't see how we can really make regulations for all of the UN. It's also not that popular for people to vote for or against it, it rarely gets enough vouches.

And, we would like to point out that our drug laws are quite effective. Just last night, we have arrested 100 tobbaco drug dealers and 50 alchol distrubters, all of whom was illegally selling these drugs and harming innocent people. Prohibition is working in our country, and working quite well. :)

The drug issue has already been dealt with under a passed resolution, that basically urges legalisation, but leaves the final decision in the hands of nations themselves.

UN Drug Act (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=12131355&postcount=192)

If you want to push for blanket legalisation, then you'll need to repeal the above resolution first, then submit a replacement.
