Dear fellow nations,
when i first joined the united nations i believed we were going to work as partners to make our regions follow a set of common principles based on democratic values.
That is certainly not happening and the final output affects my nation. No matter how fair my values may be, how great my internal decisions may seem, the compliance with undemocratic UN resolutions affect me and those living under laws. That is something i cannot put up with because it utterly shames me.
We fail everyday in the real un nations and we'll keep failing as not even in a game we can make this work.
Therefore, i resign.

As grand high Grammar Nazi, I must wholeheartedly echo the words of AA. Goodbye. <insert WTF am I doing here card>.
Now, assuming that person IS gone, why do you think they were compelled to say goodbye to the Assembly, considering I've never even heard of that nation, and they have a total post count of 1, so they've never said anything constructive themselves?

I don't dispute his opinion of the UN, but it is interesting that his first post was a goodbye.
I am afraid I do not know what we 'have became.'

These "brand new member makes grand farewell" threads always make me giggle incessantly. It just amazes me that brand new, uncontributing members think we care that they're leaving.
Actually, it makes me wonder if/when we'll see a mod-ban on "Fare thee well, UN" threads in the UN Forum.

If he's that new, he wouldn't have an office. You wanna bagsy his place in the queue?
What I like about "UN Farewell" threads is that they're almost always announced from the moral high ground. But someone who really occupied that rarefied territory wouuld stick around and reform all us reprobates by being a shining example of angelic behaviour and idealistic argument.
Alas, I must have been corrupted by the UN, because I have this faint suspicion that the farewells have a lot more to do with the effect of UN decisions on a country's stats.
