Hello, Ayerland here. I have accidently made 3 resolutions to repeal child labor, but please read the one that actually HAS an argument, if you like it, support it. If you don't, please give me some feedback.

Well, i've not been informed of such rules.
We don't send out personal telegrams to every nation describing the rules. Instead, we post them in an inconspicuous place, say, the TOP of the UN forum in a sticky thread, with the phrase Rules For UN Proposals [Now Binding] (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=420465). Then we link them to the UN proposal submission page (also nicely hidden with this text that only takes up half the page)Inappropriate proposals will be removed. This includes proposals that: suggest changing how the game works (use the Forum instead)
contain descriptions that do not match the category and effect
are not worthy of the UN's considerationThe UN takes proposals seriously and nations that repeatedly submit inappropriate proposals will be ejected.

For more detail on what constitutes an inappropriate proposal, see here (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=420465).Sorry if that's too subtle for you. Consider yourself notified.

Thanks, frisbeeteria, for making that so much better. I'll have you know that you don't have to be all sarcastic and mean just because I didn't notice something and I know that now.

St Jello Biafra;11903079']Gruen approved this?

Gruenberg often approves proposals, for a number of reasons -- including giving them a chance to reach the UN floor.

On the subject of the basic idea of repealing Child Labor, Mikitivity is opposed to any repeal. While we recognize that any international statement on this topic is by its very nature ignoring the sovereign right of nations to develop their own policies, the people of Mikitivity firmly believe that children should be studying and also enjoying life without having to worry about being pressured into working in a formal setting.

Our opposition to any repeal should not be viewed as a dislike of any particular nation. This simply is a topic that we feel is important for the international community to agree upon and work together to discourage child labor.

St Jello Biafra;11903079']Gruen approved this?Yes. I approve most repeals, even if I might vote against them in the long run.

And no, it's not a great repeal, but I found nothing particularly odious in it, and the argument didn't strike me as illegal - I read it differently.
