A Proposal now out to outlaw Russian Roulette. We need Regional Delegates to help push this proposal into a Resolution to be voted on. Please aprove of Proposal 'Russian Roulette'.

Here is the Proposal...

Description: Russian Roulette is a gambling game wherein if the gambler was to lose, he or she would lose his or her life. So to stop such acts, I propose these actions:

DEFINING Russian Roulette as betting one's life on a game of chance.

KNOWING Russian Roulette is a dangerous game,

UNDERSTANDING that the public will perform dangerous acts,

FEELING for the victim's families,

DISTURBED by the regularity of these games,

RECOMMENDS that the UN enforces safe gambling laws,

STRONGLY ENCOURAGES that this sick game be stopped at all means,

CALLS UPON delegates of the UN to vote to outlaw Russian Roulette.

Um...yeah...and this is worthy of an international body's attention why?

while russian roullette shouldnt be allowed in any nation, it should not be made a UN resolution, as any killing in the game would be classed as murder. so it will already be illegal in all nations, unless there is a nation that has legalised murder.
the only possible current exception is if the deceased volunteered to take part, then it would possibly be classed as a suicide

Yeah, this is really far too unimportant for the UN's attention, seriously, if someone is stupid enough to put a loaded gun to their head and pull the trigger, they have deserve to die, thin out the shallow end of the gene pool.

I hope you're just being funny.

Don't think Russian Roulette merits international attention as a UN proposal, but do think it would make a very interesting issue, especially if there is an option for governments to force the whole nation to play once a year for population control.

UNDERSTANDING that the "government" has the right to take away rights of people to do what they will with their bodies, and to decide on their own,

RECCOMENDS that the UN pass laws to restrict personal freedoms that do not harm any person other then the consenting individual being harmed,

STRONGLY ENCOURAGES individual freedoms to be restricted by governments as they know best,

CALLS UPON UN members to do whatever...

However, I find making things up pretty disturbing:

But people still are disturbed by regularity of whatever comes to their minds.

Then according to your supreme logic, governments would not have the power to outlaw certain drugs. So I guess your nations just filled with high, impaired citizens that, in their mad delusions, hurt not only themselves, put others as well.

Yes. All the Jevians choose to take drugs that turn them into mindless people who kill everyone else. Because drugs are well known to take otherwise sane people and make them do horrendous things. Like put babies into ovens.
