I submitted this new regulation yesterday to set right the wrongs caused by the enactment of the Individual Working Rights resolution. I call upon my socialist minded fellow nations to see to it that it gains quorum. Voting ends in two days - so hurry!!:cool:

Cheers,

The resolution as written is illegal; before you can submit it, you must seek the repeal of IWF. We'd recommend asking the mods to withdraw it.

Workers' rights resolution
A resolution to reduce income inequality and increase basic welfare.

Category: Social Justice
Strength: Strong
Proposed by: Comrade bubka

Description: The United Nations,

Taking into consideration the fact that the working class is the most important and noble class in the society,

And also noting with dismay that the recently passed Individual Working Freedoms' Resolution may go a long way in curbing the rights of the said class,

In accordance with its never-ending efforts to establish complete economic euqality among the people of the world,

Do propose the following points:

1. Under no circumstance must the working hour go beyond eight per day;
2. There must be at least one holiday and one halfday in a week irrespective of the service in question;
3. No worker, however insignificant, must be paid less than the stipulated monthly wages decided by the state and not by the property owners.

And expect all member nations to cooperate in making this campaign a successful one!

Oh yeah. Totally illegal. Totally deleted.

Why is it illegal?

Because it contradicts an existing Resolution. Specifically, the just passed Individual Working Freedoms.

Correct. Just to elaborate (for the sake of our Bubkan socialist brethren), we will need to repeal IWF (the resolution just passed) before this can be submitted.
