RECALLING that the sole purpose of sexual intercourse is the creation of new life.
DEFINES legal sexual activity as between a man and a woman regardless of marital status.
AFFIRMING that no government ought to be concerned with the affairs of those that engage in sexual activity in the privacy of their homes.
ALSO AFFIRMING that the only time that sexual activity is the concern of the state is in the case of medical reasons (blood testing for STDs and such).
CALLS for the repeal of United Nations Resolution #7 Sexual Freedom
RECALLING that the sole purpose of sexual intercourse is the creation of new life.
Heh, whoops. :p
DEFINES legal sexual activity as between a man and a woman regardless of marital status.
I'll assume you knowingly excluded homosexual relations in this clause. Well, good luck changing the opinion of this body--please peruse our many resolutions which affirm the legality of homosexual relations. Not to mention that this clause is illegal--repeals cannot DEFINE, or AFFIRM, or...well they can't do anything except repeal.
AFFIRMING that no government ought to be concerned with the affairs of those that engage in sexual activity in the privacy of their homes.
Quite true...but this has what to do with resolution sexual freedom? This is pretty much the argument of the resolution (even though the resolution is only an argument :p ) Oh yeah, it's illegal too.
ALSO AFFIRMING that the only time that sexual activity is the concern of the state is in the case of medical reasons (blood testing for STDs and such).
Illegal again. Talk about why the resolution should be repealed, don't list arguments about governmental interference with regard to sexual relations, especially when these are arguments that the resolution you are trying to repeal is making.
CALLS for the repeal of United Nations Resolution #7 Sexual Freedom
Your not CALLING for the repeal--your repealing it. "REPEALS resolution blah..." is more appropriate.
The problem with this resolution is that it is way too broad in its language in order to fully address sexual freedom. Talk about these inconsistencies.
Anyhow, this will need to be heavily reworded. A repeal for this with solid arguments literally just failed at 32%, so I'd recommend a wait before trying a repeal for this again.

"Liberty through Democracy"? What kind of democracy marginalizes a sector of it's, let alone the world's, population for what is a private and personal mode of expression? I think this falls in peril of the 11th commandment - "Thou shalt not beat a dead horse."
His Grace of Bugtusle's Government will in no way support this legislation but will, in fact, avidly oppose it.

RECALLING that the sole purpose of sexual intercourse is the creation of new life.[/qoute]
That is not the sole purpose of sexual intercourse. Okay, for many spieces it is, but not for humans. I do not have sex with the intention of creating a new life. In fact, I take extreme measures to make sure that I DO NOT create a new life. All for pleasure here.
[quote]DEFINES legal sexual activity as between a man and a woman regardless of marital status.
Why is it just between a man and a woman? Why not two men or two women? You're going to have some up in arms over this one. You should really fix it dear.
AFFIRMING that no government ought to be concerned with the affairs of those that engage in sexual activity in the privacy of their homes.
But the government can get involved if it's in a hotel room or in a tent?
ALSO AFFIRMING that the only time that sexual activity is the concern of the state is in the case of medical reasons (blood testing for STDs and such).
You really need to be more specific here. There are numerous reasons for the govenment to get involved. Think about it. I'm sure you'll figure it out.

This is the only thing in this that is the least bit good.
This seems to do nothing more than mimic that orginal resolution. It's just as poorly written and well does just as much.

CALLS for the repeal of United Nations Resolution #7 Sexual FreedomROTLMAO!
First of all, this resolution is illegal. Blatantly illegal, as a matter of fact.
You can't legislate in a repeal; that means that the second sentence...DEFINES legal sexual activity as between a man and a woman regardless of marital status....is impermissible, because it imposes a legal definition of so-called “legal sex” upon all member nations.
Thus, it you wanted this thing to be legal, you'd have to limit yourself to saying:RECALLING that the sole purpose of sexual intercourse is the creation of new life.
AFFIRMING that no government ought to be concerned with the affairs of those that engage in sexual activity in the privacy of their homes.
ALSO AFFIRMING that the only time that sexual activity is the concern of the state is in the case of medical reasons (blood testing for STDs and such).
CALLS for the repeal of United Nations Resolution #7 Sexual FreedomYou can at least get away with “RECALLING ... AFFIRMING ... (and) ALSO AFFIRMING” because none of these verbs have any legal force.
But then, if you knock out the second sentence, your pathetic efforts to repeal Resolution #7 in order to keep governments out of the bedroom are like burning the village in order to save it, because that's pretty much what #7 seeks to do!
Now, it may surprise you to hear that the last attempt to repeal #7 was ostensibly to replace it with something better. You clearly don't even intend to do that, so your chances of passage are essentially zero.
IOW, don't waste your time.

RECALLING that the sole purpose of sexual intercourse is the creation of new life.We all know once you reach a certain age many fail in sexual acts but not everyone does.. Yet they do fail from the start at having kids but still retain the urge to have sex... So how is this just an act to produce kids..?
DEFINES legal sexual activity as between a man and a woman regardless of marital status. What about two men and two women or one man more women or one woman more men... As this is sex also..
AFFIRMING that no government ought to be concerned with the affairs of those that engage in sexual activity in the privacy of their homes. So I can take you sister daugher mother wife aunt neice into my home and have sex with them and no government out to be concerned with this..!?
ALSO AFFIRMING that the only time that sexual activity is the concern of the state is in the case of medical reasons (blood testing for STDs and such).Only good thing said in this one so far.. that we agree with except for the words 'only time' in it...
CALLS for the repeal of United Nations Resolution #7 Sexual FreedomReading this I'd hate to see your idea of what needs to be written to replace it so will not support this as is...
