Set up of an International anti-Terrorism Branch

Aim: To ensure co-operation between all member states in preventing organised terrorism

This resolution formally sets up the Society for the Prevention of Global Organised Terrorism (POGOT).

The society will be split into regional sectors, made up of all member states within the region. A world wide cabinet will then be set up with the delegate country from each region providing a member for the cabinet.

The society will:

1) Allow easy access to information from other countries concerning terrorism or terrorist persons/sponsors.

2) Allow members to aid other members in fighting terrorism through man power, expertise or through exporting to said country armaments to meet the terrorist threat.

3) To allow anti-terrorist police from within a country to conduct raids and/or interview people from within member states concerning terrorism within that state. However, deportation will still be left to the countries in question to discuss.

nb

A) Terrorism is defined within the resolution as any person or persons who willingly kill non military personel for any means other than overthrowing a dictatorship.

B) Society's regional branches to meet once a week and global branch to meet once a month, although more meetings can be called in the wake of a major anti-terrorist operation.

Thoughts please.

Since this has delegates picking cabinet members it's probably not legal.. game wise..

nbThink this needs to be removed as not sure why it here.

A) Terrorism is defined within the resolution as any person or persons who willingly kill non military personel for any means other than overthrowing a dictatorship. Many member nations in UN are Dictatorships so this would promote their overthrow and... duck as those strange sound could be nukes headed you way... as don't think they will like this...

B) Society's regional branches to meet once a week and global branch to meet once a month, although more meetings can be called in the wake of a major anti-terrorist operation.Again not sure you can set up this Society you want as you do.. As the ghnomes meet when they aren't chashing women and drinking...

Thoughts please.Think some of the others will sound off on this but you have mine....

We thank Pixil Indians to bringing this idea to our attention.

Unfortunately, the Supremely Democratic States of Hirota wish to express their opposition to this draft. Aside from it's illegality which has already been pointed out, the UN has already legislated on international terrorism, and we do not see the need for this proposal.
