Set up of an International anti-Terrorism Branch
Aim: To ensure co-operation between all member states in preventing organised terrorism
This resolution formally sets up the Society for the Prevention of Global Organised Terrorism (POGOT).
The society will be split into regional sectors, made up of all member states within the region. A world wide cabinet will then be set up with the delegate country from each region providing a member for the cabinet.
The society will:
1) Allow easy access to information from other countries concerning terrorism or terrorist persons/sponsors.
2) Allow members to aid other members in fighting terrorism through man power, expertise or through exporting to said country armaments to meet the terrorist threat.
3) To allow anti-terrorist police from within a country to conduct raids and/or interview people from within member states concerning terrorism within that state. However, deportation will still be left to the countries in question to discuss.
nb
A) Terrorism is defined within the resolution as any person or persons who willingly kill non military personel for any means other than overthrowing a dictatorship.
B) Society's regional branches to meet once a week and global branch to meet once a month, although more meetings can be called in the wake of a major anti-terrorist operation.
Thoughts please.
