I hope that you will all give me your approval on this key issue:

We must put an end to Mr. Cruise's denial of his obvious homosexuality - it is becoming absolutely ridiculous - Katie Holmes deserves to know the truth, as does the media, and movie buffs everywhere.

here is your proposal:

Tom Cruise vs, the Closet

A resolution to restrict civil freedoms in the interest of moral decency.

Category: Moral Decency
Strength: Significant
Proposed by: Assassins of the World

Description: Hollywood movie star Tom Cruise has spent his entire career as a "man's man". He goes so far as to play a "man's man" in the incredibly weird yet beautiful movie, Magnolia. However, through an intensive invenstigation and inquiry, it is now clear that Tom Cruise is a homosexual.

However, Mr. Cruise is unfortunately trapped in the closet and, despite several thorough interventions, he simply refuses to come out of said closet.

In marrying Katie Holmes, Mr. Cruise has proceeded to continually fool the honorable tabloids into frimly believing him to be a heterosexual.

Tom Cruise's ridiculous, yet persistent behaviour must be put to a stop; the people have the right to know the truth.

I offer a resolution that we put an immediate halt to this shameless trickery, and pull Mr. Cruise out of the closet - by force if neccesary

Approvals: 1 (Assassins of the World)

Can you say "immediate ejection"?

Who is Tom Cruise? Sounds like a fictional character with no connection to NS.

About as funny as puking on your own shoes.

(For the puker - for anyone else it probably is quite funny.)

((Why do I bother? I don't know. Why do you bother? I don't know that either. Let's both not bother...together!))

Let's see:

1) Real life reference
2) Joke proposal
3) Unworthy of UN consideration
4) Metagaming
5) Grossly Offensive
6) Bloody Stupid
7) Strength violation (how a proposal that affects one person total is significant is beyond me)
Sadly......I think you might've gotten away with category.

Instant ejection/deletion of nation. Not sure if it makes up for the brain cells lost but I guess it'll have to do.

Some proposals are so bad that I don't even need to say anything about national sovereignty. This is one of them.

I'm going to take a picture of dog turd and make a UN card that relates proposals to said picture.

This won't be the first one to get it, because it is the inspiration.

May Mod have mercy on your soul.

He's still a UN member, only because he's still spankin' new. One more chance granted. Don't blow it.
