No

Special Ed programs as a general deal for many conditions I will support.

Anything more specific than that (even if it starts listing off impairments), I will not.

Autism isn't more important that hearing and sight impairments or lacking legs or having severe learning disabilities. It is just another one.

Right, so let's clutter up the UN's legal books with resolutions for each one!

You're absolutely right on that count, Forgottenlord.

Here, I'll throw something more general out-there for you to work from Asatruland (as the concept on the whole is actually a good idea).

MENTAL DEFICIENCY/HANDICAP EDUCATION CONSIDERATION (or whatever)

DEFINES A "mental deficiency" or "mentla handicap" as an anomaly in the brain or nervous system, brought about by injury, birth defect, or other means that in someway inhibits the abilities of a person, physical or intellectual or otherwise.

MANDATES That all schools located in UN Nations, excluding schools for the gifted and higher education institutions (college/university) must provide educational aid to students with mental deficiencies or handicaps.

blah,blah,blah...take it from here.

We fully agree we don't need resolutions to protect individual groups of people. We have enough problems gettig them passed to protect people in general. It to us would be easier to get all equality on issues of education, health, and whatever than try and do it a group at a time.....

As next we will be setting up programs based on eye, hair color, and sex because somebody comes up with a reason that blue eyed blonded haired females are smarter than their sisters with green eyes black hair or brown eyes and brown hair. Then us bald headed green eyed males will want our special program.
