Where's the silly proposals thread gone? I was about to add this to it, but couldn't find it, so here it is.
UN - Leave us alone!
A resolution to restrict political freedoms in the interest of law and order.
Category: Political Stability
Strength: Strong
Proposed by: 360 Heaven
Description: The UN's laws should be weakened and their effects placed only on those nations who vote FOR proposals.
Those who vote AGAIMST proposals should not have to be subjected to the UN's laws.
(NOTE: that is for all proposals after this one - obviously)
Approvals: 2 (Penguinlanden, Desert Storm Iraq)
Status: Lacking Support (requires 128 more approvals)

Firstly, the proposal does nothing - It says that nations who vote FOR have the resolution effects placed on them and doesn't sort out what to do with nations who vote AGAINST or not at all. I mean, no-one can possibly vote AGAIMST (not that I know of anyway)
Ignore the spelling mistake and basically, the UN doesn't exist because everyone is happy because nations who want the proposal get it placed on them and those who don't won't. Isn't the whole of the NSUN about people complaining about bad resolutions that have been forced on them?
Anyway, funny proposal. It might create peace and harmony in the UN though. Anyway want to approve it?:p
