Please understand, the volcano of rage about to spew forth is by no means directed at you personally. Just people like you, people with this idea, and people who don't bother to read the threads around them before attempting to start another debate on a tired, tired issue.
For the love of God, and all things holy, to all people, regardless of religion or personal beliefs, leave this issue alone. Set it in the middle of a very wide, very deep pit, fill it with the most flammable substance available, and set the whole thing on fire. In a few weeks when the flames have died down, send down someon in a haz-mat suit to secure the smoldering remains in an airtight container, and fire it off into the sun.
Aside from traipsing all over any idea of national sovereignty, or a base level respect for one nation to govern itself the way it chooses, this kind of proposal touches upon an area where neither science nor politics can agree. Everyone will quite statistics that contradict everyone elses, and everyone will yell and scream about their own beliefs.
It is a sore subject. It is an overdone subject.
It should not be done again.
