Why are people against the security act?

I don't get it, the security act sounds good in every respect in my opinion, I don't understand why someone would vote against it. Please state why you would vote against it and how it would affect a nation in a negative way, this may just change whether I vote for or against the security act.
Technically speaking, it's poorly written. Substantially speaking, Xanthal sees no need for the United Nations to interfere with the way individual members train their law enforcement officers and maintain law and order (or not) in general.

But UN Delagates rule by control over regions and to have control they must be respectable, having a regulaton for law enforcement would be just the thing to get a vote. You wouldn't want a rebel state running a region.

I thought that since this concern th UN that it would be appropriate in the UN thread.
I might not, but many regions want just that. What laws to pass and how to enforce them is a decision that belongs with individual nations, to be made based upon the needs of each. The educational sector, furthermore, need not be tied in with the police forces; and it is unnecessary and unproductive to force the connection proposed by the resolution at vote.
All that aside, Omigodtheykilledkenny is correct. You should discuss this on the official thread (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=485318).
