Capitalistic Countries Unite!

Us Capitalistic countries need to stay together, as it seems as socialistic countries are quickly taking over. They already over whelm us in the UN, and we must act fast or they will start abolishing and taking over more and more capitalistic regions, any ideas/comments?

It's all a matter of degree, my friend. Just how hard core capitalist are you?

I must say I fail to see where this socialist takeover is, it is illegal for nations to make propoals that would deny you the right to capitalism, and I havn't seen any resolutions pass for some time that really effect the economy to a great extent. So where is the coup?

I think you should:
- repeal the unions resolution and replace it with a watered down version
- pass some free trade agreements...maybe food, nuclear energy, that sort of thing
- start grandfathering free trade clauses into environmental agreements
- repeal environmental agreements, and replace them with the above
- pass a UN patent law

But I agree, as things stand, it's the regular fucking Red Terror.

I do believe, my good sir, that a patent law was just enacted. So there is no need to worry about that.

(All of those things have been done. I was joking, because I don't think the UN is becoming more socialist at all - quite the reverse.)

Ah, quite. Rather Ingenious of you really. :D I was wondering why everything seemed so... deja vu.

And I agree, where is this covert communist takeover?

God damn. What more do you want from the UN? The only red around here is from the blood of thoroughly ass-whomped lefties. You're already winning.

Oh, and you don't need the '-ic's.

Comrades.....I mean ladies and gentlemen....perhaps we should take this discussion to the bar over a nice vodka.....

We know there can be no truth to this accusation of a communist takeover, after all how can it be true? When we have a UN run by the people for the people.

Frankly I don't see how socialist countries are taking over. Socialism is sort like binge drinking ... sure it seems fun at first, but the economic hangover lasts for a long time afterwards. That isn't to say you can't drink responsibly an not get an economic hangover, but those socialists have already ruined their economies to be any real threat to those capitalistic powerhouses of economy.

You know, as i am reading everyone's replies, I wonder, why does someone bring up such a flawed arguement? The UN hasn't passed any resolutions that would deny capitalists any freedoms, the resolutions passed are voted upon by the elected delegates of each region. If it's what the majority wants, there's nothing you can do about it.

Red Terror? In the last 4 months the U.N. has enacted more conservative based legislation and debated more conservative based repeals than I've ever seen before. It's more like a White Terror than anything else.

All of these nations are on Tax Cocane, (except for Kerla which I can't find) and thus their economy is "high" on the drug of 100% or more tax rate.

Compare with a capitalist country high on Tax Cocane, my own regional deligate nation of Davane (http://www.nationstates.net/cgi-bin/index.cgi/page=display_nation/nation=Davane). "A powerhouse of a private sector is dominated by the Gambling industry." The only reason why he has so much ease being a economic powerhouse is because "The average income tax rate is 100%."

Tax Cocane is a powerful drug. It allows you to increase spending without having an impact on your economy. You can check off a plethora of issues that raises your economy but not your tax rate because it's already is pegged at 100%. (Using third party sources davane's government spending exceeds his gross domestic product by $2.7 Trillion.)

I am proud to be Tax Cocane Free! (I do not have a Fightening Economy as a result.)
