I know they're banned by UN Resolution, but does that apply to anti-tank mines? Also, are mines such as Claymores, which are command detonated, banned as well?

I'm under the belief that Anti-Tank mines are banned too, as the pressure control module can fail, or be set to a really low setting.

As claymores are command detonated, I'd think they were alright.

If you actually read the landmine "ban," it doesn't really ban anything. Any landmines are allowed, really. (Yeah, the anti-landmine nitwits thought they were protecting us from ourselves and the evil landmines when they killed the repeal, but in truth, they've protected us from nothing.)

He's absolutely right. There is no useful ban on landmines in the NSUN to date, so go ahead and use your anti-tank mines and even your regular mines. Have fun, just make sure you record where you put them in case you need to remove them someday.

And rememember, the UN Demining Agency is also there to help with minefield disposal.

Definitely a worthy organisation, and with GPS technology it's even easier to record the exact coordinates of your mines.
