Nuclear Information in the hands of Terrorism

As we all know, the current debate in the United Nations is over the free trade and commerce of Nuclear Technology and so called "information". You may say that this is a way to change all power generating stations into Nuclear Powered stations. But is this really a way for terrorists to get their hands on the supplies they need for nuclear warfare. For the correct price tag, terrorism could have its hands on all the supplies it needs, for mass destruction. VOTE AGAINST this current resolution, and save millions.

A basic "dirty bomb" could be constructed by a group of dedicated terrorists in the course of a few years. They would start by collecting and processing smoke detectors, to remove and gather the radiactive contents.

Properly executed, it could contaminate a reasonably sized area for years. Best done over large population centres.

Should smoke detectors be banned?

Adding regulations to who has the right to such information would be a better solution as opposed to declining free trade of nuclear technologies alltogether - although it wouldn't really be free trade then, would it?

Well, you could prevent all the terrorist worries by perhaps getting moe and better police.

See this FAQ (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=10806081&postcount=1). Note that nuclear fuel for reactors =/= nuclear fuel for bombs.

^^Hahahaahahaha^^

Anyway, yah, trading nuclear energy technologies and devices will do little to encourage nuclear armement of terrorists and rogue nations. Besides, they could always just steal the information.

Besides, they could always just steal the information.True, but it's hardly a good idea to give them the info is it?
