Eco-Efficiency Drive

So we want to care for the eco-systems in our nations, but we also want industry to be efficient don't we? So, I'm proposing that for one week every year, which will be decided at a later date, that every nation tries their hardest to make their industries more eco-friendly, and also more efficient. To help with this I'm also suggesting that all industries producing automatic-machines discount all machines awarded with the Seal of Eco-Efficiency. The seal will be awarded by a committe comprising from the 7 most Eco-Efficient UN members. Every time a nation is replaced then he member is replaced.

I'm going to leave it for your savage and brutal comments before I draw up a draft.

Kills Cluichistan as per his request

The proposed structuring of this proposal makes it illegal, given that you cannot (unless I am gravely mistaken) state the composition of a U.N. committee. I'm somewhat supportive of your discount idea, but what do you mean by "automatic machines" and how are you suggesting making them more eco-efficient (using an example to illustrate)?

May the blessings of our otters be upon you.

I believe you can state the composition - but it can't be nations

So you could say "30 University professers with extensive work in Environment, 5 Industry leaders, a munitions expert, 3 blacksmiths, 1 welder, and a man who likes carrying a machine gun everywhere.....and uses it at random intervals"

"7 most eco-efficient" UN Members isn't the answer. "7 executives from companies renouned for their eco-friendly work" would probably be legal.

Hack's rules say that committees must be staffed by mystic beings that spring into existence just to serve on the committee.

Doesn't say you can't define a bit more about those beings.

Yes it does. The mystical beings spring up just for the purpose of being on the committee, so they can't have a past history or anything.

Doesn't say you can't define a bit more about those beings.I suppose you could define a bit more, but saying it's staffed by the "7 most Eco-Efficient UN members" is going too far.

Sounds a bit like the composition of the staff in the Compadrian Ministry of the Environment.;)
