It appears Cluich's offer (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=10663102&postcount=17) just expired. :D
As far as begging for endorsements goes, this forum ain't the place to do it. Simply move temporarily to a large region with lots of UN members, and then TG a few of them, offering to give them endorsements if they endorse you. Good luck.

OOC:
Besides Kenny's advice, here's another suggestion.... If you have a proposal you want to make and need endorsements, you're more likely to get them if people agree with the intent of your proposal. Just saying that you have a proposal to submit doesn't mean much, but if I like the idea of the proposal, I'd try to help.

Sets tax requirements for various services, violates Representation in Taxation, illegal.
I'll rip it to shreads later.

Firstly, the representative of St Edmund is the author of the most successful resolution since the start of the year. He's plenty "smart" enough. But a second opinion was asked for:
In a attempt to prevent uneven military power I propose that all military technology in the following areas be shared amungst all UN nations:
Tank
Naval
Air Force
Missle Defence
As well as protection from chemical, and bilogical weapons
Technology that won't be shared include:
Radar, SONAR, and other detction technology
Infantry and troop technology
In an attempt to protect, comfort and save the publics' lives I propose the following:
The police MUST receive AT LEAST10% of Government taxes.
Hospitals MUST receive AT LEAST 15% of Government taxes.
Fire services MUST receive AT LEAST 7% of Government taxes.
The money each service receives MUST go towards IMPROVEMENT in preformance.
Well, fortunately, this proposal is illegal - the spending requirements make this a Games Mechanics violation. That's good, because the 'legal' parts are utter dross. If you want fancy weaponry, buy it. We don't see why the UN should be giving it out for free like lollipops at a doctor's surgery.
doesn't this resolution also interfere with players who R/P their nation as magical or past tech-based?

Could you please explain:
A). How you obtained your percentages.
B). Why it would be beneficial to have purely reactive measures of law enforcement receive such a large percentage of funds instead of pro-active, community based ones.
C). Why other health-care providers and outlets, i.e. pharmacies, doctors surgeries, walk-in health centres, etc, are deemed inferior in importance to hospitals.
D). Why you persist in not using spell-checker, particularly since you appear unable to even spell your resolution title.
E). How this would actually improve public safety.
And quite frankly, even if you were to address all these concerns, we'd still have to say, to use a expression common in our country, "I'd sooner vote for a tin otter than this proposal".
May the blessings of our otters be upon you.

Let's see:
1) What's this category called "International Safety" and how does it apply to Hospitals?
2) You removed all of the legal parts (and yes, I mean ALL of the legal parts) but left the illegal parts in place and called it a new proposal. Why?
3) Considering that Forgottenlands police receive less than a percent of my annual budget and my crime rate is near zero, why should we be expected to give them a multi-thousand percent increase in funding?
4) Seriously, WTF?

What did i spell wrong?
And no I cant explain any of your quetions (mainly as i can't be bothred).
And the reason this proposal is so bad is because i haven't yet thought it through thoroughly. This is just a ruff idea that i wrote to give you some idea of my proposal. I'll think about it properly to night.
Thank you for giving your opinion though( despite it being so negative).

You are not going to be getting too far here with that attitude

You were asking for endorsements to submit your proposal. If you are at the submission stage already and you haven't thought it through thoroughly, you SERIOUSLY need to rethink your strategy. Proposals aren't something you toss together overnight. They are something you work on over a period of time - generally a week. The last two that had been tossed together in such a timeframe to make it to vote would probably be Abortion Legality Clinic and Promotion of Solar Panels. The former was written by a long time vet who used a baseline from someone else's resolution as a baseline and wrote it to keep the powers in national hands. Promotion of Solar Panels holds the record for fastest repealed resolution and fastest to have a drafted repeal attempt that later passed.
You will not get your resolution to quarom unless you are willing to take time and actually answer with more than a single sentence for each question.
Thank you for giving your opinion though( despite it being so negative).

Ive learnt a lot through this FORUM.
Its taught me a lot and Compadria, you have probably helped me the most, thank you.
Despite everyone being negative towards me (and i can see why) i have learnt a lot from peoples comments on me.
I will think through my proposals better now, that is for a week or so,
I will change my attitude and respect other peoples opinions.
Thanks to all
