We've already lost our mine fields. The only deterrent some of us have left is the nuclear threat. Not to mention the economic toll it will take on our Uranium mines. Some countries may not be able to create nukes yet. They need the help of the larger nations. Some countries may only have nuclear arms to trade with and no other real goods. I urge you to vote AGAINST and tell your delegates. Their vote should speak for you.

Firstly, please use the official topic (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=474161).
Secondly, as an aside, why have you lost your mine fields? We've still got ours: the landmine ban didn't change; the UNDS certainly didn't change that.
Thirdly, producing a nuclear weapon takes very little uranium. It's not going to destroy your mining industry to make them yourselves, unless you had scant resources to start with, in which case, what industry?
Fourthly, I refuse to believe any nation is economically subsistent on nuclear arms trade. If they can build them, they can build plenty else.
