Here is a revised version of the The Regulation of Nuclear Arms, orignaly authored by antonoria, reauthoredby an ally, crazy leftists, please consider

Declaring that nuclear weapons are inhumane and should be outlawed.

1. To therefore limit and reduce the amount of Nuclear Arms in all UN countries,

2. To therefore set up an International commission that regulates the amount and size of Nuclear Weapons any UN country may posses,

3. To therefore ban the contribution, trade, and sales of any Nuclear device from one country to another,

-To therefore ban technological advanced UN members
from supplying Nuclear reactors, excess arms, or
enriched substances to other UN members in return
for oil, agriculture, computer hardware,
textiles, money, or any other profitable product,

4. To set up a global committee of UN members, that will use diplomacy to settle disputes between two UN members with nuclear capabilities,

5. To hereby ban within the territory of all UN members, the underground testing of Nuclear weapons,

6. To therefore set up a UN watchdog agency that will watch over all UN members with nuclear capabilities and to make sure all comply with UN code,

7. To therefore impose a UN code of Regulations that will be composed with UN members consent, and will regulate Nuclear reactors and all non-weapons related Nuclear capabilities

1. To therefore limit and reduce the amount of Nuclear Arms in all UN countries,

Some UN members are 'future tech' nations, with starships for which nuclear weapons might be one of the only effective forms of armaments, and they would therefore be disproportionately disadvantaged by this proposal.

3. To therefore ban the contribution, trade, and sales of any Nuclear device from one country to another,

-To therefore ban technological advanced UN members
from supplying Nuclear reactors, excess arms, or
enriched substances to other UN members in return
for oil, agriculture, computer hardware,
textiles, money, or any other profitable product,

A ban on transferring weapons, maybe: A ban on transferring reactors & enriched fuel, forcing those less-advanced nations that want these to develop them themselves despite the fact that this would involve more risk to the international environment than letting those countries buy these from the more advanced nations, NO.

4. To set up a global committee of UN members, that will use diplomacy to settle disputes between two UN members with nuclear capabilities,

OOC: Illegal, under the current rules for resolutions... Any committees created nowadays can only be staffed by UN Gnomes, not by the representatives of particular nations.

5. To hereby ban within the territory of all UN members, the underground testing of Nuclear weapons,

OOC: It's easy enough to create a puppet-state that's outside of the UN, and carry out any underground tests that are desired there instead...

7. To therefore impose a UN code of Regulations that will be composed with UN members consent, and will regulate Nuclear reactors and all non-weapons related Nuclear capabilities

OOC: Almost certainly illegal, again... Given that we can't have a committee formed from national representatives to draft that code, it would have to be another resolution instead.

Here is a revised version of the The Regulation of Nuclear Arms, orignaly authored by antonoria, reauthoredby an ally, crazy leftists, please considerThis ought to be fun.

Declaring that nuclear weapons are inhumane and should be outlawed. I think that the UN disagrees with this, after all they did pass UN Resolution #109 Nuclear Armaments.

1. To therefore limit and reduce the amount of Nuclear Arms in all UN countries,

2. To therefore set up an International commission that regulates the amount and size of Nuclear Weapons any UN country may posses,

for oil, agriculture, computer hardware,
textiles, money, or any other profitable product, OK then, we'll only trade nuclear stuff for unprofitable products.

4. To set up a global committee of UN members, that will use diplomacy to settle disputes between two UN members with nuclear capabilities, St Edmund hit the nail on the head on this one.

5. To hereby ban within the territory of all UN members, the underground testing of Nuclear weapons, I think I'll let the Flibbleite Science Advisor handle this point. Ladies & Gentlemen allow me to introduce you to Dr. Conrad Odine.

Thank you, so you vant to ban ze underground testing of nuclear veapons. Fine then, ve vill just haff to find an alternative testing location. I propose zat any UN member who vishes to test a nuclear device do so in the skies above crazy leftists. Back to you Bob.

6. To therefore set up a UN watchdog agency that will watch over all UN members with nuclear capabilities and to make sure all comply with UN code,Great, another useless committee.

7. To therefore impose a UN code of Regulations that will be composed with UN members consent, and will regulate Nuclear reactors and all non-weapons related Nuclear capabilities
And this will be done through what, another UN resolution? Sorry I beleive that doing that would end up constitution a horuse of cards violation.
