Here is a new proposal that needs approvals, please help with this bill.

Protection of Minorities
A resolution to improve worldwide human and civil rights.

Category: Human Rights
Strength: Significant
Proposed by: Dragdon

Description: Absolute Protection of Minorities and POWs/ Enemy combatants

Description: This resolution provides protection for, enemy combatants/POW’s, ethnic minorities, peoples of color, religion, sexual preferences (excluding abuse of minors), women and children of all ages, who have been captured during an act of warfare, either perpetrated by the ruling power or caught as a result of their own actions or as innocent bystanders. They are to be given humane treatment in accordance with civilized behavior. There is to be no torture or intimidation even implied through the jailors behavior. Religious practices and cultural traditions are to be respected. All “prisoners” are to have immediate access to an internationally recognized lawyer or legal firm/team, who are independent of the military situation in which they were captured. All medical needs and conditions should be attended to by the capturers. Family members of the prisoners should be immediately notified by the captors, of the prisoner in their custody. If prisoners are moved, the international court at The Hague should be notified of where they are being sent.

Clauses:
1. This bill ensures absolute protection for enemy combatants/ POWs and all Minorities.

2. If this resolution is passed all UN nations will enforce these rules by any means necessary. No nation will be able to make threats that target minorities. (This is not interfering with free speech, because if a nation wants its voice to be heard, it can pass a resolution. In certain circumstances, free speech should be tailored to be tactful and not insulting especially with the major religions of the world. )

3. The UN will protect any nation that falls under attack and will investigate any nation that is suspected of mistreating any people under its control. (Mainly ethnic minorities, peoples of color, religion, sexual preferences, women and children under the age of all ages, who have been captured during an act of warfare, either perpetrated by the ruling power or caught as a result of their own actions or as innocent bystanders.) This includes the citizens of that nation as well. No government may mistreat their own citizens/others under the protection of this resolution.

4. If a nation is found to be not in compliance with this resolution, the UN has the full right to enforce these laws through the use of conventional arms or any diplomatic or economic means necessary.

I ask you how much longer this world must remain a broken sphere before we understand that we are all the same and respect should be universal and understood. Vote for this resolution to stop a growing party in the UN that believes, it is ok, not to learn from the past and World War II etc. Stop it here, vote, and make sure that we never see abuse and bigotry that leads nations into disaster.

Welcome again. The main problem I see with this is duplication. Out of memory, these themes seem to have been covered by something like a Discrimination Act and the Wolvish Convention, so doing it again is against the rules. There is a sticky in the forum with links to passed resolutions, you can find them there.
