what is the UN position on the thrid world debt?:)

I think it's very liberal. Or maybe it's pay through the nose.

It might be progressive development. I know mine is sod 'em. They're there for a reason. Let mother nature rule.

The UN itself has no position. Although i am guessing that member nations might have their own political platform on that specific issue.

Or without having the NatSov community falling on you. Still, the existence of a "third world" and of a debt problem is not well established in my view.

We're probably what might be described as 'third world' though we dislike the term. Thankfully we've avoided the worst excesses of lingering debts thanks to the actions of our former colonial rulers*.

*OOC: that said, I'm not averse to the idea of having Eco be in hock to some less than generous western-style nations... but is this worth RPing or would it just be dull?

Because of the nature of NationStates, there really isn't a "third world." There's more like "fifteen billion" worlds. One of these worlds might be in debt to another one, but...there's not overall policy, I don't think.
