Tomorrow's the last day to vote on this proposal!!!

"Description: Goal: To establish international relations with the nations of the free-speaking world in an attempt to colonize Mars with representatives from every Democratic nation so that we may extend democracy into the future of our race.

While the colonization of Mars has many significant impacts on almost all the areas in human civilization today. Democracy is the key to our survival so that we do not plunge back into the Dark Ages of feudalism or convert into the fundamentally flawed capitalism or the idealistic but NEVER achieved (total) Communism.

As mentioned, going to Mars has MANY significant impacts on Earth:
- possible discovery of new natural resources
- increased interest in scientific fields
- chances for many new scientific discoveries
- the advancement of aerospace technology
- increased and encouraged international relations
- a common goal for all of humanity to finally unite as a race
- lessen the stress of overpopulation on Earth
- promote the importance of DEMOCRACY by setting up a total democratic government on Mars where most if not all decisions are voted on

While the costs of such a program might be significant. Monetary sacrifices are nothing when compared to the survival of the human race."

Search the keyword Mars in the list of proposals and submit your approval today!

You do know that there are quite a few UN members that come from Mars? I'm not exactly sure about the democracy thing, isn't there a rule against imposing political systems?

Give me the shovel

You lost your right to it when you went grave digging

(that would make an awesome card).

Grave digging is where you dig up a dead thread to add another post to it. On the UN forums, resolutions that have passed and illegal or dead (as in, no one is interested in developing it) proposals that are beyond the 1-day filter are "dead and buried".....hence to "dig them up" would be "gravedigging".
