If you think so called "illegal" drugs should be legal simply say yes, if not say no, and please give a reasonable explaination for the both.
Thank you

you should add a third option: it is up to the individual nation

Depends on the drug, depends on the reasoning behind it, and depends on lots of other things.

Hirota says no to this survey, simply because there is no understanding demonstrated by the person behind the survey

The Republic of the PEaceful Sabers votes no because if Illegal drugs are made legal the same thing could happen to them as happened to Cigerettes and Cigars.:headbang:

I agree. I am personally in favor of legalizing all drugs for consumption as government has no right to decide what people injest. However, I would oppose any UN resolution that legalizes drugs as I believe that this is an issue best delt with by individual governments and not a matter for international policymakers.

The Empire of Sallydor does not condone the use of any drug that is "illegal". I do not want to see all of these drug using people on my streets and in my cities walking around all doped up and confused. It would make the death rate sky rocket and I'm trying to build my city not destory it.

Please define what sort of "illegal drugs" first, as many nations have differing policies on these matters vary according to the effect and type of drug.

May the blessings of our otters be upon you.

I don't think that illegal drugs should be legal because I don't think people need to inject into their veins, snort up their noses, or put into their mouth a thief to steal their brains.

Yeah well thats just great isn't it so when your whole city is high on drugs and nothing gets done then lets see what you say! Also there must be a reason why they are illegal now BECAUSE THEY HARM PEOPLES MINDS AND BODIES you imbosile if we make theese legal then all our world is done for! What kind of UN member are you?

It depends what you think are "illegal" drugs. Many illegal drugs in your nation are probably legal in ours. Some illegal drugs in our nation may be legal in yours. So, are you asking whether we should nationally legalize more drugs, you should nationally legalize more drugs, or the UN should legalize drugs that it has already declared illegal (which, by the way, there aren't any)?

Personally, I believe that individual nations are much more capable of determining which substances are appropriate for legalization in their respective countries, and the UN shouldn't touch the subject.

Well I don't care if they get high as long as my government gets a piece of the action. Oh and as long as I can put that extra kick back in Coke.
