The UN is growing increasingly pro-capitalist! It is becoming increasingly difficult to run communist/socialist nation. Therefore, socialist and communist nations must stick together.

The Economic Sovereignty Coalition (formerly UN Socialist Coalition) is an organiztion dedicated to combatting free trade resolutions and protecting the rights of socialist nations. Socialist and non-socialists alike are welcome to join.

Isf you are interested in joining register at the UN organizations forums and post on the ESC forum.

Absolutely. Reading over some nations' descriptions, it appears that some are even allowing 14-year olds to operate lemonade stands. ;)

I don't think that's so unreasonable. I know 'the UN' as a whole is regarded as liberal left fluffies, but the GFDA passed, further free trade proposals have been discussed, and the dust has largely settled after 40 Hours and so on. Yes, the UN probably is still fairly leftist in its legislative position, but that doesn't mean things aren't afoot. (Were I not the author of something abolishing copyright laws, this argument would be a tad stronger.)

Question: If I decide to make an organisation of football-playing beavers, should I call it...

Beaver Football Sovereignity Organisation,
Footbeav Sovereignity Association,
or
The High Football Comittee of Beaver Sovereignity?

Please help.

Amen to that!!! Subsidies in communist nations translate to resources put into a certain state-run industry, well, at least in Commustan and New Commustan, so, GFDA is going to destroy my farms and decrease the food supply. What food are we going to distribute.

Aw, come on, be fair, we're trying to stamp that out. At least we did get rid of the black market automobile industry, and the black market book publishing industry that followed it. Those teen entrepreneurs are living on borrowed time, believe me :D.

I should certainly hope so.

The Child Labor doesn't go far enough... it should also make such atrocities such as lemonade stands and newspaper routes illegal.

Hmm... maybe a resolution defining "industrial occupation" as "any employment within an industry", then those kids couldn't work in the "fast food" or "newspaper" industries due to Child Labor... :p

The ESC has no position on the child labor issue.
