Repeal "Gay rights"-by The New Blood in "Middle Western Atlantic"

This is Destruckiemericama of "Middle Western Atlantic"- founder/ delegate/ president, and would like you to vote on these two proposals;

This is what a nation in my region has lastest to say about gay rights in the United Nations and would like your support:

Before reading his proposal, I thought that his ideas were way off, but it turned out pretty well.

"Gay marriages are completely wrong. All they bring is more arguments between everyone.

The New Blood is here to stop this discrimination of gays and lesbians, by stopping marriages. It is a pro for both sides. If gays truly want to express themselves, they can just tell people that they are boyfriends or girlfriends. This can't be stopped, and well, people just leave it at that. With marriages, it is argued to be between a man and a woman, or gay marriages are better lasting. Neither is really true. Feeling as though you belong to one person, in definition can define marriage, such as a nun. Also, gay marriages also fall apart frequently. Because of the many discriminating views from others, and the many family problems and issues. Without gay marriage, both sides win, you shouldn't nessisarily take one side. With gay and lesbian marriages this way, both sides win!!"

*PLEASE VOTE ON THIS IN THE UN PROPOSALS*

HERE IS MY PROPOSAL ON "RIGHT OF TEENAGE GAMBLING", please vote on it

"For many year, their has been the argument over children being able to gamble in casinos'. It's been "Kids are to young to gamble" or "They aren't smart enough." It needs to change. Children gambling, I agree that's a bit extreme, so I thought up a resolution to solve the problem.

Everyone a teenager, or at the age of thirteen or up, is able to gamble inside of casinos. If a teenager goes to a casino, or is brought there, he or she has the right to use a gambling machine.

Teenagers must show a type of identification of their age before entering a casino. When a teenager walks into the casino, he or she must show their identification card, with the year of their birth, or their age, on an I.D. card, or something to prove their age.

They must be treated the same as any other adult. If a teenager feels they are being discriminated because of their age, they have the right to complain about the problem, as an adult, without being denied.

Teenager have the right to spend and gain any money spent or won. They must accept any money lost fairly, and have the right to earn or gain, any of their winnings. Any cash won fairly, is theirs to spend and to keep, no one else may take it away, unless owed.

Injuries of teenagers somehow being injured by machinery, are split between the teenager and parent/guardian and the casino.

If caught cheating in any way, or form, teenagers may be sewed, as in any other case, and the problem must be worked out with the parent or guardian.

Teenagers admitted into the casino have the right to stay throughout the opening and closing, unless causing controversy or commotion"

:eyesbleedingsmilie:

...what do you mean that's not vB code?

Seriously, could you change the colour? That orange is just...gah.

The first is illegal; the second doesn't, in our view, constitute something the UN should be legislating on. Sorry.

I agree with Gruenberg's points, especially about the orange colouring (which, might I add, is hideous).

As a point of interest, I'd like to point out two hilarious lines from the text for the gambling act.

Injuries of teenagers somehow being injured by machinery, are split between the teenager and parent/guardian and the casino.

What, the injuries are split  , I'd love to see how one splits injuries between different people:p (evil sadistic laugh).

If caught cheating in any way, or form, teenagers may be sewed, as in any other case, and the problem must be worked out with the parent or guardian.

Teenagers may be sewed, gosh that'll really scare them.

May the blessings of our otters be upon you.

The first one is outright illegal as it contradicts resolution 12 and probably resolution 80. The second one I'm not even going to CONSIDER reading until you drop the color. These are forums, not chat. You already have our attention with the fact that your post is the starter of the thread. You don't need color and color only hurts my eyes in such a manner. Unless you have an emphasis reason (which you don't since you made the whole post orange), don't use it.

I wonder what parts of the teenagers will be sewn? Seriously though, we won't be supporting either of these for reasons already brought up by Gruenberg and others.

Mod policy is not to divulge reasons for deletion of members to anyone but the member deleted. Sometimes it gets out, but they tend to follow this policy uniformly.

I won't go into details, but in the course of investigating one bit of rule-breaking, I found that there had been one previously. As per SOP, he was deleted. Nothing terribly unusual or interesting.
