I have proposed a resolution regarding about environment protection, whereas all endangered species have been endangered by the deforestation, pollutions, and rising fossil fuels. To this resolution, the nation hereby solve the following solutions:

1. Efficients in alternative energy source, such as solar power plants to provide cleaner environment and prevents further environment destructions.

2. Banning deforestation to preserve the nature of environment and its endangered species.

3. Replacing industrial that pollutes heavily into the air to provide cleaner industrial zone to support the cleaner environment without harming the surroundings of the species.

4. Replace automobile that runs by gas into a vegetable oil cars and electric cars in order to preserve the environment without polluting any emission that thrives the destruction of the world.

5. Completely limit the use of fossil fuel in order to preserve for future use, in case of emergency.

6. Will provide poor economy nations a tax break of 75% in order to maintain the clean environment and preserving endangered species.

I urge members to pass this important resolution that will allow nations one step ahead of this environment problems. Without this resolution, pollution will constantly destroy the endangered species, continuing the deforestation and increasing fossil fuel.

Vote this proposal to help save the environment!! VOTE NOW!

(OOC: Really, this belongs in a certain other thread...)

'give them a tax break of 75%'...what tax break? What are we already taxing poor nations? I'm confused.

Sorry Thunder Comets, my government appreciates your innocent sincerity on this matter, but will have to vote against this proposal if we need to vote on it.

Several reasons really, mainly to do with how this doesn't survive scrutiny (loopholes and sections which are wildly vague), and also because my government does not spend a penny on enviromental protection, and is not keen to start taxing people just now (which is entirely motivated by self interest).

the honourable delegate may mean well but isn't there enough environmental resolutions on the book?

The reason why there is a tax break is to help citizen to eliminate burden of poor economy, so if your nation is in need of economy relief, that's what 75% does to help your nation save money without spending anymore bucks. Your nation's tax is pretty high, so since that happens, no one in your nation is going to pay for it. That's the reason why I put that number in there.

The proposal has nothing to do with taxing people money. It has something to do with economy relief. You got misunderstood in that.. Read it carefully.

In this proposal, there is enough environmental protection. If you approve it and then approve this resolution, your nation will solve by having this resolution. I have wide knowledge on issues and I have pretty good strength on how the world should look. If there is a endangered species that are on the brink of extinctions, this resolution will help protect it. With that, I will constantly update it, maybe once in every 2 months to keep the resolution stay healthy. In the next proposal that I will write, it will help wipe out debts on all nations by this resolution. So, it takes time to adjust to it.

i've looked this over again and i think this needs more work in it.

take point 4 for example. what timescale is involved here and what makes you think that vegetable oil can power a vehicle. i would really like to see your findings which makes you think this is possible.

point 5 : this idea is even worse than the FFRA and thats saying a lot. we've already been through this with that thrice cursed act and who is to say what an 'emergency' is?

lastly point 6. what tax are you talking about and how do you define 'a poor nation'.

You're right.. Hmmm.. I just started writing proposal few nights ago. This is my first proposal.. It needs specific words in it. I am trying to improve my resolution writings and hopefully I am fine tuned into resolution writings. It just needs improvements. That's why I am doing it to learn how to do it.

(ooc) I have seen someone do it. Someone from the office I work at powered their car using vegatable oil. Yeah - they totally screwed up their air filter, and their car now makes a noise like a truck when it starts up (and keep in mind this is a small car, not a big one, and it sounds like a lorry) - but they did use vegatable oil to run it for around two weeks :}

Properly-processed vegetable oils can be used as fuel on a long-term basis, without damaging the engines concerned... in diesel engines, rather than the more usual type, anyway... This HAS been tested & proven in the 'Real World' (for example by the bus service in Vienna, Austria). The term "biodiesel" is sometimes used to label those fuels.

(Nevertheless, I agree that this proposed Resolution is badly written and will vote against it if matters get that far...)
