Anti-UN organisation

I've heard of a secret organisation trying to attempt the UN. Some of the countries of this organisation have already been accepted as UN members
(The Holy Empire of Lexus The Great, for example). I think it's urgent to react, we cannot accept such a behaviour wich put the UN's integrity in danger.
I'm waiting for your propositions.

Considering the fact that the UN is hardcoded and these "anti-UN" organizations aren't, I don't think anybody's likely to be horribly concerned.

There is no reason for anti-UN nations to join the UN. They could simply set up another organisation, or operate without UN legislation affecting their nation.

I am anti-UN interference in areas which I do not believe the UN has any business legislating - I suspect some of my like-minded colleagues are tarred with the same brush as those who want nothing to do with the UN, simply because we disagree with the direction which the organisation is taking.

The only anti-UN organization that y'all may need to be concerned about is Gatesville. It's gotten surprisingly big, very well organized, and is quietly backing almost every other pro-soverignty or anti-UN group out there.

At 5 am, Mitch Thompson, Leader of the STF (Special Task Force) was going along the beach... there he heard it...engine noises... he suddenly looked around and there he saw it... 4 helicopters were flying above him, heading for The Holy Empire of Lexus The Great regions... He couldnt believe what he saw.. they were Hind -D´s, old model, but equipped with state of the art high-range-missiles... four on each helicopter... Mitch didnt wasted a second.. he called Tom Kane, DIF Inspector, and reported to him what he had seen... Tom asked him to come to the DIF Headquarter in Damlos, and so Mitch did...
-We are working on this task very carefully... because of other problems inside our country we cant give the full attention, but we will do the best we can.
First, it doesnt make any sense that these helicopters, dangerously equipped with terrible weapons, were flying so careless inside our lines... there must be a reason.. if we get enough time, and im afraid there is not enough, we first will make sure where these machines came from... i cant believe that organisations wanting to do something quite and clean within our rows are sending such WAR MACHINES on duty... there is something else we didnt see yet... in this case i request help from other agencies for we should get those... people... Well, who's to say that secret organizations don't already hold a large deal of power in the UN?

Shh. That's a secret. Sort of.

Sort of indeed. While I'm a UN Delegate and fully support the institution, there is a bit of disporportionate represesntation, especially when I cast my delegate vote on a resolution. Since I have about 29 countries in my region who are UN Members, my single vote becomes 29 votes. The larger (and huge!) delegates have even more power, where some of their single votes become 500 votes. And that those larger delegates tend to hold off voting until the last minute, the passing or failing of a resolution falls within their grasp.

I don't know if this could be remedied -- I think it's a built-in feature of NS gameplay.

But even more, I think that if those who disagree with the direction the UN is taking should just plain vote more to either repeal resolutions -- the Repeal of Promotion of Solar Panels is a great example -- to try to keep the U.N. as best befitting their needs. And they should try to form a greater, collective voice across NS.

Damn. You figured it out.

Why would anyone attempt (to take over?) the UN when it would be (speaking hypothetically, of course) so much more fun to whiteant it from within?

A lost memorandum here, an unsigned treaty there, a forgotten telephone number, a mis-filed brief, an e-mail that shouldn't have been forwarded ...

Long live la trahison des clercs!

Oh, yeah, I forgot: and the occasional mis-translation ...

How do you know that we don't already control the UN? After all, whoever controls the building, controls the UN.

Ah, but do you have a valid building pass? Why was your requisition for heavy artillery for the 40th floor not submitted in triplicate? Are you aware of the subtle insult implied in refusing to supply more than three potted plants for the suite of an accredited delegate? Could the basements sustain a visit from the Health Inspectorate?

These are the questions that should be keeping the UN awake at night.

Ah, but do you have a valid building pass?Of course our building passes are valid, we issue the things.
Why was your requisition for heavy artillery for the 40th floor not submitted in triplicate? Those were submitted by our Maintence of Order Department Squads and they can fast track the requisitions bypassing the need for submission in triplicate.
Are you aware of the subtle insult implied in refusing to supply more than three potted plants for the suite of an accredited delegate? If they want more potted plants they are welcome to bring their own.
Could the basements sustain a visit from the Health Inspectorate? We don't know, no inspector has ever returned from the basements.

Very well, that seems to be in order ... for the moment ...

*smiles politely, showing a few too many teeth*

Thinks: So, 'bring their own', eh? Deliberately encouraging the importation of possibly prohibited flora ...hmm, wonder if there are any sentient plants among the UN membership ... might get him on 'Failing to provide suitable administrative assistance for a legitimate delegate of a member nation ...'
