Maybe you should adjust your settings so that they show all threads, instead of just the ones from today.

When I was a newbie, I thought the exact same thing too. Your board settings show you only the posts active in the last 24 hours. At the bottom of the forum window, choose to view post from the beginning or from the past 1 year. Then you will be able to view all your posts.
