Replace the Human Rights Bill with an Improved, easy-to-swallow Charter

Athens and Midlands

Thank you for approving if you did already! If you didn't, we encourage you to do so: Here's why:

As you see, we need an updated version of the charter, as the older bill, The Universal Bill of Rights was written by a former nation that does not exsist anymore. And it was a bit complicated too. The new one has three parts, all in easy to swallow chunks. :D

Athens and midlands also like to see citizens know the outside world, so on Part II, clause 7, we did. This clause might help knowledge, too.

We would also encourage you to repeal the The Universal Bill of Rights, submitted as part of the plan because that was the one I'm bringing up to date too.

So remember, to see the improved version in the bboks of the UN, the repeal bit is called Repeal "The Universal Bill of Rights" and the replacement is The UN Human Rights Charter, written by a nation that does exist. Please approve both of it. :)

Why does it matter that the author of the original resolution no longer exists? We find the Universal Bill Of Rights to be perfectly satisfactory as it is.

Additionally, you may well find that your replacement is deemed illegal because it would force all members to become democratic.

I concur with Myopia, the fact that the nation that proposed the resolution is dead is not a vaild reason to repeal a resolution.

The very Constitution or our own nation was written by citizens long dead.. Will you propose next that we repeal it and rewrite it. We are very content with our current Constitution as we are with the Universal Bill or Rights. All to often a new resolution to replace an old one does more harm than preserve or improve the old one.. So we would not support a change to the current UBR..

If we must swallow it, can it be a small pill please? Preferably with a pleasant taste, not too bitter.
Perhaps a suppository may be more apt for some?
