General debate over the new UN wildlife bill

Sapland is a progressive country that spends tremendous amounts of time, effort and TAX DOLLARS to keep all endangered wildlife safe. We are very PRO-CONSERVATION.

**********YET**********

How dare the UN create a measure to force the "world" to protect endangered species.

In a utopian society, it would be great to have all animals froliking wildly, all the time, but----this is the "real" world. Countries have the right to decide on their own, within their own boundries, what policies they choose to enact.

We cannot create a world police force for the protection of animals!

I am the first to admit that Sapland loves animals, and has an outstanding record of protection, but there are countires that may have their very survival dependant on consumption of these very animals~~~~so, is the UN going to force these people to STARVE TO DEATH?

I would like to support this resolution, but it leaves absolute power in wildlife protection to the UN, which is not a governing body, and should not legislate POLICY, yet propogate good will, and make the earth a safe and educated place.

What do you think? I urge you to vote NO to the current UN resolution, and perhaps someone will come up with a resolution that can be supported by those of us who love wildlife AND personal freedoms!

DONT BE FOOLED~~~~~~~~

THIS BILL WILL USURP YOUR COUNTRIES FREEDOM, GIVING ANIMALS MORE RIGHTS THAN WE HAVE AS UN MEMBERS!

VOTE NO, AND LETS GET A BETTER RESOLUTION THAN THIS ONE!

THINK ABOUT YOUR SOVERIENTY.

THINK ABOUT YOUR NATION'S RIGHTS.

THINK BEFORE YOU VOTE!

Look at the Endangered Species Act and what a criminal failure that is.

It hasn't done a single bit of good for any animal.
