I don't know if any of you UN members have noticed, but there is a HUGE war going on (check the Willink/Arabanistan war in II).

Over 30 nations are now invloved but more are about to join.

MOST nations are large nuclear power and nuclear weapons have now just be launched by 3 nation on me and I have now responded in kind.

Other nations are about to go nuclear including Parthia.

Since the UN is supposed to benefit humanity, I urge you to intervene to stop this madness.

The UN is pointless if it sits around debating sex education resoultions or human rights as if this war continues there WONT BE A HUMAN RACE LEFT IN NS!

IC: According to UN Resolutions, you are allowed to use nuclear weapons in self-defense.

I'm not sure what you really expect the UN to do. We're forbidden to write proposals pertaining to specific nations or regions, and we can't do much else, so it would seem you're kind of stuck.

OOC: This kind of stuff really doesn't belong in the UN forum, for that reason. Work your RP wars out yourselves, please.

Arabanistan is NOT a UN member ans thus free from your resolutions.

However some of the nuclear nations that did first attack are UN members.

There is nothing in UN law preventing them from using nuclear weaponry offensively or defensively. The UN has no military ability and no ability to call up specific military efforts - plus there's no way you get everyone to agree that we should intervene even if we had the capacity to.

_Myopia_ is perfectly safe from the effects of nuclear winter due to our IGNORE climate control devices, and whilst we are deeply sorry for the death and destruction which is occurring, there is absolutely nothing we can do about it. Any action we took would have little impact other than to potentially make us a target for nuclear powers too.

The Holy Otaku Church of the Eternal Kawaii will be willing to accept as refugees any giant radioactive monsters spawned by this unfortunate event. We have found that they make useful border guards.

Pojonia will move its pocket dimension long enough to throw a rock or two. Actually, this concept bores me. So we probably won't.
