I saw a two threads about this nation selling white females as sex slaves and I was appaled by the mere thought of this practice. In the name of decency, I wrote the WHite Trading Company declaring war on them. I haven't received a reply. However, I was wondering if I have clearance from the UN to proceed with this war.

Violation of several resolutions, not to mention war is legal - perhaps unjustified, but legal - in all cases.

You do not need UN permission as a sovereign nation to go to war. How ever there are resolutions you need to be aware of regarding war and your conduct during one. (wolfish etc)
As a non UN state would not have to adhere to UN resolutions they would have an advantage in a war RP. Also, it might be a good idea to weigh up your nations and your allies in this regard.

Simply Slavery is Banned under current UN resolutions. The White Trading Co. Nation is NOT a UN Nation therefore can legally engage in the slave trade while smoking crack cocaine and murdering grannies and babies.

Upon review of the Tekanian Stellar Archives; we have ascertained that the Confederacy of White Trading Company is not a UN member. As such they are not under the authority or responsibility of the United Nations.

Any call of war upon this sovereign state is subsequently rejected by this Republic...

Well, Indeed it was, and I look back and the word illegal would fit better, my mistake.

Of course I do not believe that sexual slavery is right anywhere but there is nothing we can do to change non U.N. government.
