If you don't click the link in the e-mail, you aren't in. If you do join, go to the UN page and click 'Resign'.

You can leave the UN anytime you please much the same way as you joined.
On the UN pages right at the very top theres a Big RESIGN button. Want to leave? go there click it and voila! Your out with the Non UN types.
