What's the URL for the "It's Been Done Before" card, Tex?

I believe that there are multiple resolutions that address the same-sex marriage issue by compelling UN member states to allow it. Thus, a fourth such resolution would likely be received coolly by the UN Gnomes.

I may have a solution which pleases all. Much like in the nations of Europe, a man and woman, a man and a man, or a woman and a woman may be married to each other. All marriages which take place in churches are not recognized by the state. All marriages which are recognized by the state may take place at a designated state-sanctioned building, where intergender marriages are as welcome as marriage between man and woman.

Asthinia: Homosexual marriage is already covered by several UN resolutions. I cannot see any need for the UN to go into nations and declare which locations are valid for marriage, though - that would be unneccesay intervention in my mind. So yes, I'm playing the national sovereignty card.
