Keeping The Value Of The Un

To find it, simply go to the list of UN proposals and search for the word(s) " Charitable Investment " or just " Investment "

The following is a proposal I am attempting to get passed. I have received many praises and much support over a short period of time, but it is not enough. In two days the voting ends, I & 28 fellow UN Delegates and even their fellow nations in their regions want it passed. Please vote for this, I feel it is a proposal the UN must at the least pass to the final stages to maintain it as a neutral entity for the progress of both economies and social development. This is the first proposal in a while that both favors our own nations while keeping in sight the third world.
Spread the word of this proposal to your fellow regions. Together we will form an alliance with which we will be able to pass any proposal, why, because of support.

The Proposal:
Observing: that the problem faced by third world nations is not a lack of money or the developed world's wealth, but a lack of infrastructure. They have corruption in high ranks limiting the amount of money trickling down the ladder.

Proposing: UN projects for aid, etc be privatized and run by those nation's visionaries and entrepeneurs themselves.
With the money coming from investor groups/businesses/enterprises with no chance of profit available to them in our countries they will have a chance to use the money given as tax write-offs.
By giving businesses a chance to give for tax benefits in return, rather than the burden put on governments who force to cut things in their own nations, we take the stress off of governments and put it to the people and hence we will further open our trade borders as two-way streets with the third world. The UN businesses/aid projects of course will be required by UN sanction daily quality reports so the UN may properly supervise quality control.

Our world is one of free trade, and 'charitable investment' must be achieved to bridge the gap between social justice and capitalistic gain. We must not favor one over the other but have one lead us to the other.

1. You are assuming a private sector exists in all nations. This is incorrect.

2. You are assuming third world countries exist within NS. Although they do in one sense it is rather different then in RW.

Aside from that there are a few areas we wouldn't like to see privatised and this resolution is so broad it probably includes a few of them (i.e. medicine)
