does a U.N resolution really affected the overall performance on your country? providing you are a U.N memeber? does it actually affect your gameplay, like making a decision on "issues" ?

It makes a difference on your stats, but not on your decisions on issues. So you could ban something in one resolution, and then legalise it in a proposal. Or vice versa.

yeah, thats what i meant, as in making a difference in the stats. Thats really cool! I thought we were just doing this for fun..with no real impact. Thanks for answering.

It should be pointed out that while resolutions do have an impact on stats, this is not usually noticeable when compared with the effects of issues.

At most you can expect to see one resolution every 5 days. You can choose to have 2 issues per day sent to you, meaning that in 5 days times, your stats might change 10 times.

The catch is, we have a fairly good idea how UN resolutions change our stats ... many of us don't have as clear a picture on how daily issues change our stats.

If you have any other questions on the UN, you may want to consult The Great Big Consolidated United Nations Sticky (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=412468). If that doesn't answer your question, just ask somebody with a high postcount and a haughty attitude. We usually know the answer. ;)
