What timezone does the UN use? Also, I might ask, what time on the closing day does the UN stop taking votes? Does it change from resolution to resolution, or is it the same? Excuse my ignorance. Also, with the UN rankings, do they all happen at the same time? If someone could answer my questions or point me in the right direction I'd be thankful.

If you're talking about a resolution at vote it appears to happen during the secondary update. I don't think exact times can be given because I believe they randomize them a bit but currently I think that's happening around 11am PST in the US.
If you're referring to proposals awaiting approval it happens during the main update. For the last little while those have been around 3 or 4 am PST.

Roughly the same time... the updates seem to take a while to work through all the nations in the game.

For an alternative timezone, it looks like many proposals get removed at around 11am British Summer Time, with resolution votes closing at some point in the evening.
I'd appreciate some clarification on this, having just submitted a proposal!
