The votes aren't for or against you, they are about the current UN proposal at vote. Believe me, there is no chance that so many people would be concerned about any single nation applying to the UN.

Membership is automatic. Nobody can deny you UN membership (unless you break the rules and get ejected - read the link in my sig). What you're waiting for is the bureaucracy of a large organization, sifting through hundreds of requests and sending out email responses. You'll get it eventually.
