Education
My fellow delegates it has come to my attention that other great nations in the UNITED NATIONS have not and are not allowing their students to reach their full potential . I propose the following steps to help children of ALL NATIONS learn in a better , safer and happier enviroment .
Adressses - the need for a more effecient learning enviroment
I propose that the songs of ABBA should be played instead of a nationonal anthem , which could curve dirty , dirty nationalism and promote dancing which is healthy and helps to round out a child.
The songs also must be played during lunch , every day to ensure maximum exposure to the genius of ABBA . The greatest hits must be learned in music class and sung in the vocal class of every nation. This will help to promote a global feeling of togetherness when during the Olympics everyone will be able to rective the words to Mamma Mia!
I hope that my fellow delegates will see this as a step forward in the education of our children , our future.

Greetings.
We of Roathin have searched our archives and located an ancient tome of the songs of these bards. We believe that if you adore their music as much as you seem to imply, you should respect the content of their lyrics.
Accordingly, we note that you must be prepared to espouse a particularly vigorous brand of capitalism - one in which the world is a rich man's world, the winner takes it all, underaged young ladies can be dancing queens, and heartsick older artistes can be super troupers.
We are not against the sentiments espoused in those lyrics (and others yet unmentioned. We are just uncertain that these lyrics are appropriate to all nations. We are even more uncertain that maximal exposure would bring as much benefit or as much unity as you think.
In conclusion, we would have to reject such a proposal, even as we appreciate the positive sentiment behind it.

Our office concurs with our fine colleague from Roathin.

One of my fellow citizens, upon hearing this proposal came to me and said:
{In A heavy Snoogariam accent}: Whiee yoo canna bah sarious! I'd trear out me spaekers behfore I listen to ABBA!
Seems he has traumatized from the experience. While the PDS is assuming this proposal was made in jest, we must also in the interest of our citizens soundly reject this proposal. While some nations may love ABBA, our nation does not have a rich history of music anyways, so we have no nationalistic songs with which to proselytize to our children. If anything, we don't like most music, and we would much rather listen to a good radio performance.

I must respectfully second this proposal, as it will greatly increase the intelligence of all citizens in every country which adopts this policy. Please bring this motion to a vote as soon as is humanly possible.
