Why?!

I have seen so many ridiculous proposals in the UN that have been passed and then repealed. So WHY is this happening?

Either the people aren't very avid readers or they just don't care to read the proposal and press "Vote For". I DEMAND that Jennifer Gov't sends an email to everyone with the exact same flag or a motto that refers to another country that they may only have ONE UN member. All of these people with the 5 UN members get 5x the vote and it just isn't right!

I hate seeing corruption in such a great concept as the UN.

Standards and conventions take time to develop, as do understanding and knowledge. Sometimes the legislation looked fine at the time but later you realize it wasn't such a good idea.

That's a technical request that should really go in the Technical forum. And as a friendly piece of advice, you might to do a little less demanding and a little more polite requesting.

I hate seeing corruption in such a great concept as the UN.

So do the Mods, which is why they expend so much effort deleting multis.

The things I put up with.

~Stabs the Grabones delegate in the throat~

You have only a few seconds before you expire and I claim your heart as a trophy. So listen well.

One, if you're talking about the resolution up for vote, we already have a topic on that and you should have made your comments there. Two, many nations have the same flag because of the default flags in NS. Three, certain mottos are shared simply because they are catchy. Four, if you don't like the delegate system so much, feel free to leave the UN. Five, it's well known that all of the delegates for my nation are insane, so I'm not legally responsible for what I am doing.

~Pulls the knife out, removes the delegate's heart, and wipes the blade off on his dead body~

Well, I am still alive for I am part autorotica.

One, its not just about the topic at hand, it has been many topics and all seem to get the "ok". Two, it isn't the default flag I am talking about. Many people have the same detailed falg of a person or a running dog or something and the second nation's motto tells you to hail the other nation with the same flag design. The gov'ts are also the exact same in every way. Three, the only reason why I am part of the UN is to try and free it of these people who make multiple UN accounts to get what they want. And four, I agree with many of the UN delegates being insane. My sister has tried to ban rap upon many other things and I have laughed at her. Sane people want disarmament while others try and put it back in place.

You can't always get what you want..... no you can't always get what you want. If you try sometimes, you just might find, you get what you neeeed! Aww yea!

No, sane people want to be able to defend themselves if needed.

No, sane people want to be able to defend themselves if needed.Sane people dissregard silly "let's pretend we're at war" threats to discuss more important political matters.

Oh, foo. Next time, I'll just summon the shoggoth and have them do it instead.

One, the wording of your post sounds as though you are complaining about just the current piece of legislation due to its use of singularity instead of plurality. Plus, it annoys me when the reason I end up stabbing someone is a result of a mistake in interpretation. Second, try reporting them, but remember than a person may have as many nations as they want as long as one one is in the UN (the current record is over 200), and that in some cases that's a simple case of someone mimicing someone they admire, an all-too frequent event off the Internet. Three, you don't need to be a member of the UN to do that. And four, my nation is the only one that actually sent insane delegates, but the reason why we are insane has nothing to do with our opinions and much to do with a case of having too much technology and succeeding at attempts to play god without realizing there might be consequences of our action. Just because you're able to do something doesn't mean you should, especially when it's on the level we do it. And Five, sane people don't want disarmament if there is a credible threat to their safety, and right now the UN has several of those who would dearly love to see if disarm just so they can harvest dead human bodies while at the same time of having a problem with the fact its less enthusiastic members in the area of weapons bans are one ban of weapons of mass destruction away from turning on the UN in what they consider as necessary to survival.

I always hated that song.

I'll tell her to get right on that, bub.
