No title yet... this proposal concerns antibacterial resistance in bacteria, and hopefully presents ways to combat it. I would encourage any grammatical/form edit suggestions, as well as content... or just anything that needs work in general.
The General Assembly,
RECOGNIZING the danger to organic beings that is harmful bacteria.
NOTING the great adaptivity of bacterial populations, and that poor use of antibiotics fosters the evolution of ‘superbugs’ which cannot be fought effecively or at all with current technology.
FURTHER NOTING the exsistance of such superbugs, such as Staphylococcus aureus, Enterococcus, and Escherichia coli.
CALLING ATTENTION TO irresponsible practices such as:
1.Such as feeding/injecting livestock with weak doses of antibiotics.
2.Washing one’s body with antibacterial soaps
3.Consuming medicine perscriped for other individuals
4.Taking antibiotics to combat viral infections
MAINTAINING that use of antibiotics, in accordance with the perscription of a qualified docter, is an effective an legitimate way to combat bacterial infection.
ENCOURAGES member nations to promote healthy alternatives to irresponsible antibiotic use.
PROMOTES the study of bacteria, and ways to combat the harmful effects of these things.
HENCEFORTH BE IT RESOLVED THAT the practice of giving antibiotics to livestock whose meat is bound for UN nations be declared illegal.
